Lost puppy is finally reunited with owner after featuring in televised Chilean Premier League game
Matias Gayozo, from Penco – the third oldest city in Chile – had almost lost hope of finding Toby after he went missing.
After two weeks trying to find the pup, Matias was on the verge of giving up when animal group Huellitas de Collao contacted him to say he had been found. But where?

Well, in the 20th minute of Saturday's clash between Fernandez Vial and Universidad de Concepcion, the energetic Beagle made its way onto the Estadio Ester Roa pitch.
A number of players tried to stop Toby from causing havoc but after several failed attempts, the dog casually made its way to the 12 yard area, where it decided to defecate on the goal line.
Universidad de Concepcion goalkeeper Manuel García was then given the glamorous task of cleaning up the mess with a trusty poo bag. And before you ask, yes, he did take his glove off.
Eventually, after several minutes of mayhem, the young pup was caught.
Instagram account Huellitas de Collao – a page dedicated to finding lost dogs in the local area – soon reached out to Toby's owners to give them the good news.
It turns out the dog lived 12 miles away from the stadium... now that's a story to tell the grandkids.
Matias spoke to the local media after Toby was found. "The puppy likes to run, as seen on television," he said via Chilean publication Sabes. "But one day he disappeared from us. We couldn't find it.
"Yesterday I saw a publication that came out on TV. I recognized him by his tail, while he made us laugh as he ran and dodged, plus the “little gift” from him, because he also does that where we live.
“We were very happy to find him and bring him back to Villa Montahue. He is already at home, warm, without going through all the cold that we imagine happened in the street."
